When we chose to stand our ground and exit Russia in protest of the war, the retaliation was immediate and aggressive. Our founder, Bulat Barantaev, was officially designated a "terrorist and extremist" by Russian authorities for his stance against corruption (and his public opposition to Putin) and his support for the anti-corruption movement of Alexey Navalny. We lost our team, our logistics were thrown into chaos, and the weight of the crisis nearly brought the brand to an end.
